When We Are Closed

If you require a doctor outside normal surgery hours please call the normal surgery number 01274 521111 and follow the recorded instructions for our out-of-hours service.

If you require URGENT medical assistance when our practice is closed and you cannot wait until we re-open for the next surgery our answerphone will direct you to " hang up and dial 111".  The NHS 111 service is free from mobiles and landlines.

Your call will be triaged by a call handler and appropriate care advice will be given. 

If NHS 111 services advises you to arrange an appointment with your GP when the surgery re-opens, please ensure you telephone at 8.00am for a same day appointment.

Please use NHS Services appropriately - DO NOT ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

                             Call 999 in an emergency ONLY!

Emergency situations include: Sudden chest pains and/or shortness of breath, serious falls, loss of conciousness/collapse, serious difficulty breathing etc. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND A&E UNLESS IT IS A GENUINE EMERGENCY. Thank you
